How to Calculate the Refund Amount for the Returned Item/s?

NEW PROCESS: Refund Computation for Returned Item/s

Applicable to all orders placed on or after May 23, 2025

No RMA number required

Step 1: Determine used item(s) cost. Expedited Processing and Warranties are not included in the refund

When the customers purchase expedited processing, they're paying for quicker delivery of the item. If they decide to return the product, the item itself is being returned to the merchant, not the expedited shipping service. Therefore, a refund for the expedited processing fee is not applicable.

A warranty is a separate contract that protects the customers from product defects or malfunctions after purchase. When they return the product, they're essentially deciding they no longer want that protection, so a refund for the warranty isn't applicable.

Step 2: Determine the Order Total and the Shipping Cost. Here is the Refund Breakdown:

Original Purchase Amount: $[Total]

* Less: Used items amount: $[XX.XX]

* Less: Shipping: $[XX.XX]

* Less: Reprocessing Fee - $4.95

* Total Refund: $[XX.XX]

Sample Calculation:

Original Purchase Amount: $121.90

* Less: Used items amount: $29.97 (Warranty & Expedited Processing)

* Less: Shipping: $6.99

* Total Refund: $79.99

Step 3: Replace Calculated amount in the Refund box and click Refund

If a customer wants to return only an additional pack of a product they’ve already used, here’s how we handle it:

  1. Keep the charge for the first pack (main cost) at the same price they originally paid. Example: 1st pack of BNM = $39.95.
  2. If the customer says the product didn’t work, refund the main cost (1st pack), again at the original price. Encourage them to keep the other pack. However, if they insist on returning it, proceed with issuing the refund on the spot and send the return instructions via email (use the macro: Return Within 30 Days).
  3. Include the price of the second pack in the return refund calculation (e.g., $30 for the additional pack).

* Less: Used items amount: $69.92 (Main cost of used 1 Pack, Warranty & Expedited Processing)

* Total Refund: $40.04
